I LOVE to go for my daily walk. I actually look forward to it. Yes, it is dark and cold at 6 am when I go { the moon and stars are still out} but I love it. A few times I have thought to myself " I bet I can run from here to that tree up there." So I try it and when I get to the tree I think "nope, I'm not a runner" and start walking. Well about a month and a half ago I just woke up on morning and told myself that I was going to try running a just see how far I could go without stopping. I was VERY surprised when I drove my van around the neighborhood the same as I ran that morning and realized I had ran 3 miles non stop. I have never done that before. It felt really good. So I have been running instead of walking in the morning. Some of my relatives have run in the Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning and I thought that might be a fun thing to try. So I have been running { more like jogging cause I don't go very fast} 3 miles every morning getting ready for the Trot.
I signed up to do the 10K {for all those non runners like me that means . . . . . .
{My time: 1hour 12 minutes}
